On December 18, 2022, Argentina’s national soccer team won its third World Cup, after 36 years of waiting. Immediately a wild crowd came out to celebrate in the streets of the whole country: men, women, children, elders and families gave birth to a ritual of happiness, passion, pride and emotions completely out of control. Two days later, the champion players arrived to the country and their caravan mobilized 5 million people in the City of Buenos Aires.
I was part of both days as a fan and as a photographer, immersed in a human tide soaked with joy, hugs, songs, beer, water and “crazy snow”, which bathed us all in a feeling of union and plenitude.
